Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg (Med Ortho) night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Med Ortho unit of a hospital setting
• 3x12hr Night shifts, 1900-0730
• 36 hours per week
• 8 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule
• On-call is optional
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license, Colorado or Compact, required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Provide patient health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic support
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
