Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a neuro and cardiac facility, requiring CNMT certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Work in a nuclear medicine department within a neuro and cardiac focused facility
• Adult patient population in a clinic setting
• Specialized in nuclear cardiology, brain scans, cerebral blood flow, and myocardial studies
• Procedures include exercise/rest single and multiple studies and pharmacological stress testing
• Experience with DaTscans and cardiac work is helpful
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 5x8 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• No weekends required
• No call required unless desired
• Potential to float between sister facilities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required
• Must be able to work independently
• Current BLS and CNMT certification required
• PET certification preferred
• WA State License required if applicable
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills in shunt and abdominal imaging; ventricular imaging experience preferred
• Must be comfortable with isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Former Providence permanent employees must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for this travel position
• Returning staff must wait at least 3 months and reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
