Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a weekend day shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent MS/Tele/Wound Care experience and TX or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Med/Surg/Telemetry unit in a 45-bed hospital
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Weekend day shifts (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required
- Block scheduling possible
- EMR system is MEDHOST
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
- 1+ years of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry/Wound Care experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Dress code requires dark navy blue scrubs
- RTO blackout dates are 12/24-12/25
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
