Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and Epic charting proficiency for a role in a teaching hospital setting.

Details

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting
• Procedures include IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, PCI, TAVR, and mitral clip placement
• Responsible for scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Weeknight and weekend call required
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit policy

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Cardiac Interventional and/or Vascular Interventional certification from ASRT preferred (RCES or RCIS preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab/EP technologist role
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including device placements and structural heart interventions
• Work within a teaching hospital environment
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate with no radius restriction
• Candidates must be willing to float to affiliate hospitals as needed; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
• Returning staff must have a gap of at least 6 months since their last assignment to be eligible
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and should not exceed two weeks
• Scrub attire required for procedural duties
