Description

American Traveler is hiring a Step Down RN requiring WI or compact license, 2+ years of experience, and the flexibility to float across multiple departments.

Details

• Hospital setting with floating required across Acuity Adaptable Unit (mix of patient types), Med/Surg, Inpatient Rehab, and ED boarded patients
• 13-week assignment with night shift 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float position requiring onsite floating to areas of greatest need within skill set
• May require floating to facilities within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (AHA required for BLS/ACLS)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Only submit to one Ascension position system wide
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before their assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
