Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a PCU-ED Hold position requiring 2+ years of experience and EPIC EMR proficiency.
Details
- Floating position covering PCU-level patients across facility locations, with majority of time spent in ED overflow
- PCU unit has 33 beds with 1:4 patient ratios
- Patient population includes respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, general post-op, CVA, ETOH, overdose, CHF, post Cath/IR, and CIWA patients
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy and general drain care, chest tube and lumbar drain management, IV medication titration, and CIWA protocol management
