Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technician with 1-3 years of experience for a radiology department requiring ARRT certification and state RT licensure (if applicable).

Details

• Radiology department setting
• PM shift, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, rotating 7-week schedule
• 3 days per week, 13-hour shifts, 39 hours per week
• No call requirement
• Possible float to a nearby sister hospital
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician required
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• State RT license required if applicable
• Demonstrated knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Current knowledge of trends in clinical practice and healthcare informatics

Additional Information

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and assess patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and identify need for procedure revisions
• Candidates must not have been submitted to any X-Ray Technician positions at this facility within the last three months
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from initial start date before requiring a break prior to a new assignment
