Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of adult critical care experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment.

Details

• Adult patient population with focus on critical care
• 12-hour night shift, 7PM-7AM
• Every other weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• Assignment includes a transition between two facility locations within the same health system

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of adult respiratory therapy experience required
• Critical care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (AHA)
• Florida RT license required, if applicable
• COVID-19 vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care to critically ill adult patients
• Credentialing documents due one week before assignment start
• Overtime must be pre-approved
• Two weeks notice required prior to assignment end
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
• No radius rule in effect for this position
• Permanent employees must be separated from employment for 90 days before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered
