Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care/Cardiac CDU position requiring 2+ years PCU experience and ACLS certification on 12hr night shifts.

Details

• Works in a 39-bed Cardiac Progressive Care/Cardiac Decision Unit (PCU/CDU)
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers floated first and possibly to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Must be able to recognize EKG rhythms
• Degree accreditation documentation required, unless candidate has 5+ years of PCU experience
• Recent Nursys report required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced
• Candidates may not own or cosign on property within the 50-mile radius
• Galaxy Blue and white scrubs required
• Orientation begins on a Friday, with in-person badge/ID required that day even though orientation is remote
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Travelers are expected to fully integrate and function as core staff
