Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV NICU night shift position requiring Epic experience and recent travel nursing experience.

Details

• Level IV NICU setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Float required to other departments within the facility and to sister campus NICU, and potentially to other campuses within a 12-mile radius
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification (AHA only) required
• NRP certification preferred
• BSN preferred but not required
• Two supervisor-level professional references completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Minimal to no RTO allowed; any requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration
• Facility conducts nicotine/cotinine testing as part of a nicotine-free campus policy
• Medication competency test administered, with a second attempt allowed if the first is not passed; failure to pass the second attempt may result in cancellation
• First-time travelers are accepted if their resume demonstrates the needed skills
