Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MA RN licensure and circulating experience in a Birthing Unit.
Details
- Work in the hospital's Obstetrics Birthing Unit
- Day shift schedule consisting of 3x12-hour shifts per week (3a-3p)
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license (Temp license accepted) required
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience with required circulating experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and intermediate-level EFM
- Epic EMR experience required
- Medical or religious COVID exemption documentation accepted if applicable
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within the Labor and Delivery/Birthing Unit
- Preferred but not required certifications include ALSO, NCC Perinatal certifications, and First Latch breastfeeding certification
- Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
- RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
- Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
