Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring cath lab experience with Impella, IABP, and ventilator management on a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 labs and 10 staff members
• Day shift staffing includes 1-2 RNs and 1-2 techs per lab, totaling 3 staff per case
• Night shift is on-call only with a 3-person call team
• Patient ratio is 1:1 with on-call coverage
• Uses GE equipment and Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule, 7A-3P
• Typical procedures include LHC, RHC, PCI, Shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Cath lab experience required, including Impella, IABP, and vent management
• Vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience preferred
• 1 year of recent experience in cardiac cath lab specialty required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start (AHA or ARC accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Florida requires two professional references

• Independent personality with a strong work ethic is ideal for this unit
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates will be considered
• RN scrub color is navy blue
