Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric and Adult Surgical Unit position requiring both pediatric and adult inpatient experience and floating between units.
Details
- Combined Pediatric and Adult Surgical Unit (Post-Op/Short Stays) setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required between Pediatric and Adult Surgical units
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric inpatient experience required
- Minimum 2 years of adult inpatient experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Nursys or other license verification required for consideration
Additional Information
- Care for both pediatric and adult surgical patients, including post-op and short stay cases
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction
- Staff RNs previously employed at the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
