Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit position requiring RRT certification and NRP, PALS, ACLS, and BLS credentials.
Details
- NICU setting within a hospital respiratory care department
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
- Shift times vary around 645p-715a
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU respiratory care specialty
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- GA RRT license required if applicable
- NBRC certification required
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked at the facility as permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to receiving an offer and cannot be requested after
