Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week contract.

Details

• MRI Tech unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating on-call responsibilities from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Expected to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty required for Ohio locations
• Active certifications required with nothing pending
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Additional Information

• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required within 12 months of start, updated annually, with exemptions for nurses and CSTs
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility, and open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Returning permanent employees must wait 1 year from their previous end date before returning to this health system
• Extensions available for up to 18 months total, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this health system
