Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring an active NM or compact RN license and prior cardiac cath lab experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab department of a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with evening shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Full time schedule
Requirements
- Active RN license in New Mexico or compact license required
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- CPI certification required
- 1 year of experience in cardiac cath lab nursing preferred
- BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care applying the full nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure patient needs are met
- Act as patient advocate while respecting cultural and religious beliefs
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Previous CHRISTUS Health employees must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a travel assignment at any CHRISTUS facility
