Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of ER experience.

Details

Level III Trauma Center emergency department with 19 ED beds and 9 FSED beds
Serves all patient populations including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients
Patient ratio of 1:4
Uses Meditech EHR system
Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 6:45 AM
Every other weekend required
Call required on an as-needed basis
Floating required on an as-needed basis

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year ER experience required
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, and TNCC
Professional demeanor expected

Additional Information

Hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and Level I NICU facility
Joint Commission accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
Recognized in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
Black scrubs required; casual attire not acceptable
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time
