Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a day surgery center role requiring Cerner EMR experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work at a day surgery center within the Pre/Post Op (PACU) unit
- Monday through Friday schedule, typically 8 AM to 4 PM with hours varying based on patient recovery times
- No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history
- Must meet required PACU/Pre-Post Op experience
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide pre and post-operative nursing care to day surgery patients
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Keep requested time off (RTO) to less than 7 days
- Returning Tenet employees or travelers must disclose prior employment history with the health system
