Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS (RDMS) or ARRT (S) certification for a 12-week day shift assignment covering Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Details
- Hospital-based radiology/ultrasound department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- Responsibilities include abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms
- Proficient in scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
- Performs ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- ARDMS (RDMS) or ARRT (S) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA school
- State license as a general radiographer required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in ultrasound/sonography required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
Additional Information
- Provides timely diagnostic services under the direction of a radiologist and departmental protocols
- Candidates must secure housing within 50 miles of the facility prior to acceptance and provide the address
- AHCA fingerprinting clearance required prior to start for all Florida travelers
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered
- Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
- RTO requests must be less than one week
