Description

American Traveler is hiring a Charge RN for an Operating Room position requiring active MI licensure and previous OR circulating experience.

Details

Surgical Services unit with 3 OR rooms and a Procedure Room
Outpatient and inpatient surgeries for adults and children across specialties including cancer, ENT, gastroenterology, general, gynecological, ophthalmological, orthopedic, podiatry, and urological surgery
1:1 patient ratio
Uses CPSI EMR
Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday, 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend coverage limited to on-call only
On-call requirement of 10-11 days per month

Requirements

Active MI RN license required at time of consideration
BLS certification required
Previous OR circulating experience required
Required experience in Ortho, OB-GYN, and General surgery
Preferred experience in PACU, Urology, and Ophthalmic surgery
Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

Deliver quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold professional nursing standards
Facility provides scrubs
Local candidates within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted travel rate
Limited to 5 days of requested RTO
