Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to support interventional cardiology procedures, requiring 2+ years of cath lab experience and RRT or RCIS certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab department within a 90-bed acute care facility
• Adult patient population
• Specialty focus on interventional cardiology, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Cath Lab staff also cover stress testing, TEE, and tilt table studies
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR
• 36 hours per week on a 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• On-call requirement of more than 12 days
• Occasional floating to Interventional Radiology (IR)

Requirements

• RN or Scrub Tech role with RRT or RCIS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cath lab setting
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures required
• Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Experience treating coronary artery disease (CAD) preferred
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys/licensure required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
