Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 3+ years of experience to treat orthopedic and musculoskeletal patients.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic with gym and one semi-private treatment room
• Patient population includes orthopedic and musculoskeletal cases, both post-operative and conservative rehab
• Post-operative cases include total joint replacements, shoulder scope, rotator cuff repair, and knee scopes (meniscal repair, ACL)
• Conservative management includes joint and muscular injury, back and neck pain, general deconditioning, and balance training
• Does not treat pediatric or neuro diagnoses
• Average caseload of 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Flexible scheduling options of 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
• No weekend rotation, on-call duties, or floating required
• No EMR used; standard physical therapy equipment provided

Requirements

• State PT license required if applicable
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient experience treating musculoskeletal injuries, back/neck pain, and post-operative care preferred

• Supported by department manager and patient access specialists
• 2 days of facility and unit orientation provided
• No holiday coverage required
• All time off requests considered by the manager
• No scrubs required for this role
