Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Dept RN for a Critical Access Hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS/ENPC, and TNCC certifications along with a WA or compact RN license.

• Acute care setting within a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department
• 11-bed ED with 1 trauma bay, averaging 35 patients per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
• Charge nurse present on shift
• 24/7 respiratory therapy coverage, with phlebotomists handling lab draws and IV team available during business hours
• No pharmacy coverage after hours; house resource nurse and sister facility provide support
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 0830-2100
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• Primary assignment at the listed facility with potential float requirement throughout the broader hospital region
• Floating within the home unit not usually required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active WA state or Compact RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• Active certifications required at time of consideration; pending certifications not accepted
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
