Description
American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for an Emergency Department holds assignment requiring TNCC and NIH Stroke certifications along with active TX or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department handling ED holds (telemetry patients)
- 13-week assignment with night shift schedule from 7p-7a
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within 30 days of start)
- TNCC certification required for ER placement
- NIH Stroke certification required
- CPI certification required for all ER units
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry/ED specialty required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide care to telemetry patients being held in the Emergency Department
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
