Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong acute care and orthopedic experience for a role circulating cases in a busy Level III trauma center.
Details
- Level III trauma center with 196 beds and 7 ORs, typically running 4-5 rooms at a time
- Average of 12-20 cases per day
- 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Heavy caseload in Ortho (Total Joints & General), General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Podiatry, Spine, and ENT
- No Neuro, Cardiac, or Ophthalmology cases
- RNs work in a circulating capacity only, not required to scrub
- Uses Epic, Alaris IV Pump, and Pyxis systems
- On-call requirement of 1 day every other week plus 1 weekend every 6 weeks (Friday evening through Monday 0700)
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of strong acute care experience required
- Ortho experience with Total Joints & General procedures required
- Robotics experience preferred
