Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg rotating shift position requiring remote telemetry experience and an active MN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting
• Level 1 Trauma center with Level II pediatric trauma and Level III NICU designations
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Epic EMR used
• Rotating 12-hour shifts covering both days and nights
• 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (MN only, compact not accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• 3+ years of Med Surg experience required
• Remote telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 supervisory references with employment dates required
• MN DHS Background Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions

Additional Information

• Provide holistic nursing care across the lifecycle, from neonates to older adults, based on assigned unit
• Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinate care among disciplines, and delegate tasks appropriately
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Required to work some holidays

• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application and may not be honored after submission
• Strict compliance deadline for required documentation by 4pm the Wednesday before start date, with no exceptions
