Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center requiring at least 2 years of PICU experience and PALS certification.

Details

• 24-bed high acuity, fast-paced Pediatric ICU in a centrally located Level 1 Trauma Center
• Cares for neurology, renal, pulmonary, surgical, and medical ICU patients
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on ICU status
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Floating required to CVICU, NICU, and a North Campus 12-bed PICU as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU specialty experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide high acuity critical care nursing to a diverse pediatric ICU population
• Navy scrubs required; pediatric print tops permitted
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
