Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a nursing float pool position requiring an active NH or Compact RN license and 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Nursing Float Pool unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• 36-hour weekly guaranteed hours
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float to affiliated facilities in Laconia, NH or Franklin, NH
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration, temporary licenses not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• 1-2 years minimum Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
• Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation provided
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the local rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
