Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring CRRT and/or IABP experience along with a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• 20-bed medical ICU with 2:1 patient ratios
• Cares for patients with cardiac arrest, sepsis, mechanical ventilation, stroke, surgery, continuous dialysis, and invasive bedside procedures
• 3x12 night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• CRRT and/or IABP experience required

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for critically ill cardiovascular ICU patients
• Facilitates patient and family-centered education and discharge planning
• Delegates and oversees patient care tasks performed by other team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
