Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB experience along with at least 1 year of recent relevant experience.

Details

• Home Health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation required every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office
• EMR: HCHB experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant Home Health OT experience required
• OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care (SOC)
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) required
• BLS certification required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Timely documentation and communication are mandatory
• Hospice/Home Health Checklist is mandatory for consideration
• Scrubs required, any color, no jeans permitted
• iPad provided for documentation; personal cell phone not required
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Monday orientation includes completion of billable training modules
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation
• Locals accepted at the travel rate
• RTO must be submitted at the time of application
• Traveler expected to be flexible with territory assignments
