Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a bi-campus Level I Trauma Center, requiring ARRT(R), BLS, and prior travel experience.

Details

Bi-campus coverage between two hospital campuses
Interventional Radiology department
4x10 hour day shifts, flexible between 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM, with options for 2x12s, 2x8s, or 5x8s
No weekend or holiday shifts required
Call shifts available on a voluntary basis
Will float between campuses to meet facility needs
Uses Epic for charting
Equipment includes Fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, Philips, Ultrasound, and PACS

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
Prior travel experience required
Active CT license required prior to start date (license required if applicable)
Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
Experience with vascular, genitourinary, and abdominal/pelvic IR procedures including angiography, embolization, stent placement, and drain/catheter management
Skilled in venous access, central line care, and port management
Experience with equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and room circulating duties
1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

Responsibilities include equipment setup, access site prep, sterile field maintenance, and circulating duties during procedures
Supports a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, and neurological IR procedures
Misty green OR scrubs provided
Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
COVID vaccine and booster required with medical/religious exemption only
First-time travelers will not be considered
Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
RTO requests over 7 days require additional approval
