Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring oncology experience and prior IV chemotherapy administration.

Details

Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 12-hour rotation
36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Basic arrhythmia recognition skills required
Tele interpretation experience required
Oncology experience required
Prior experience administering IV chemotherapy treatment required
Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide telemetry monitoring and med/surg nursing care to oncology patients receiving IV chemotherapy treatment
Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
Returning contingent workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break per facility HR tenure policy
Former permanent staff must be separated from employment for 6 months to be eligible for a travel assignment
