Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an acute care setting, requiring 1 year of clinical experience and current WA state licensure.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Occupational Therapy unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s, 40 hours per week
• EPIC EMR used
• Work with a neuromuscular compromised patient population
• Flexibility required to work across outpatient, hospital, and nursing home settings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program or equivalent required
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred
• OT license required if applicable, or license eligible in the state of Washington
• BLS certification required
• Clinical skills in orthopedics, neurological, cognitive, and manual therapy required
• Ability to work with others, take direction, and exercise independent judgment
• Ability to dictate reports

Additional Information

• Provide occupational therapy services across the lifespan, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Advanced degree or additional training strongly encouraged
• Cancellation policy allows for 1 shift every 4 weeks
