We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Fort Pierce, FL where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• Must have NICU experience. Candidates without NICU experience will not be considered.
• Experience with ventilators and respiratory equipment commonly used on the unit, including Servo I, Hamilton, V60, Astral devices, CPAP/BiPAP machines, administration of nebulizers, ABGs, and chest physiotherapy.
• Experience working in EMR systems; Meditech experience is preferred.
• Preferred: trauma experience.
