Join a hospital in Bradenton, FL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working with advanced cardiovascular technologies. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate specialized equipment to capture images and data of the heart and vascular system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent certification required.
• Cardiac Cath experience required. Candidates without cardiac catheterization experience will not be considered.
• CRM and PV experience required.
• Experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association preferred).
• Experience with advanced Cath Lab equipment including Shockwave, Laser, CSI, Penumbra, IABP, Impella, and Rotoblator preferred.
• Experience with MacLab and Meditech EMR systems preferred.
• State licensure as required for practice in Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification from CCI preferred.
• Experience with EP/ABL procedures preferred.
• Prior experience with TAVR, Watchman, pacer and ICD procedures preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1730.
• Work environment: 5 procedure suites, 1:3-4 patient-to-staff ratios typical.
• Unit uses MacLab and Meditech electronic medical records.
• Type of cases: diagnostic and interventional cath, peripheral vascular, pacers, ICDs, Watchman, TAVR, EP/ABL.

As a traveling Cath Lab Tech, you will provide skilled procedural support that directly impacts patient outcomes at a Level II trauma center. You will work with an experienced team that manages high-acuity cardiac and vascular procedures and uses up-to-date interventional devices and imaging systems.
