Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and interventional procedures to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Cath lab experience required. Must have experience with Impella, IABP, and ventilator management as indicated by the client.
• 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting required.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State specific licensure as required for practice in Florida.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Experience with vascular/peripheral interventions preferred.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00 – 15:00.
• Each day shift lab typically staffed with 1–2 RNs and 1–2 techs per lab; team size during cases generally 3 staff.
• Night coverage is on call.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.

As a Cath Lab Tech on this assignment, you will support procedures such as LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave therapy, pacemaker implantation, Impella insertion, and IABP management. Your role will contribute to timely, high-quality cardiac care for patients in the Sarasota community.
