Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Provide critical support to physicians and Cath Lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment to capture data of the heart and vascular system.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from CCI preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting required.
- BLS (AHA) required. ACLS (AHA) preferred.
- Familiarity with Cath Lab devices and systems such as Philips laser systems, IVUS, OCT, coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices, Siemens Artis Zee C-arms, McKesson CPACS/Cardiology and Hemodynamic systems preferred.
- Experience scrubbing and circulating, operating x-ray equipment, and assisting with pre/post procedure care, inventory management, and billing preferred.
- Current work history and skills checklist (within 1 year) required. Two supervisory reference forms within the last two years required.
- Licensure as required by state. Candidates with non-compact licenses must meet state requirements.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 5x8 (36 hours guaranteed).
- Assignment duration: 13 week travel assignment.
- Candidates will rotate between scrubbing and circulating roles and rotate call coverage during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as part of departmental call rotation.
