What You'll Need:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy

• Valid Pennsylvania Radiation Therapy state license, if required

• 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist

• Experience operating linear accelerators and performing patient setup and immobilization

• Experience verifying treatment plans and dosages in conjunction with oncology teams

• Ability to document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in an electronic medical record system

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Minimum Requirements - Client Specific

• 2 years' recent clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist in a hospital or outpatient oncology center.

• Current AART (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy required.

• Valid state Radiation Therapy license for Pennsylvania required prior to start.

• Documented experience with linear accelerator operation, treatment verification, and patient immobilization techniques.

• Experience using oncology treatment planning verification workflows and electronic medical records.

• Ability to meet facility-specific credentialing and orientation requirements prior to assignment start.

• Preferred: Prior experience in a high-volume or academic hospital radiation oncology department.

Additional Duties:

• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including linear accelerators.

• Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

• Verify treatment plans and dosage in collaboration with the oncology team.

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy and escalate concerns as appropriate.

• Document treatments and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record.
