Join a Health System in Houston, TX as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values clinical skill while offering the experience of a new location. Provide support to physicians and cath lab personnel during diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture critical cardiovascular data.
What You'll Need:
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential via CCI required.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting required.
- Experience with EP, IR and diagnostic/interventional Cath Lab cases preferred.
- Experience using Epic charting system required.
- Ability to work in a Level I trauma center environment preferred.
- On-call availability minimum of 3 days per month required.
- Orientation: 12 hours required.

Assignment Details
- Facility type: Health System.
- Shift name: Evenings.
- Shift details: Evenings 1000-2000. 4x10 schedule indicated (10:00–20:00).
- Shift pattern: 4 days per week.
- Shift notes: Some schedules may include 8/10/12 hour day options.
- Call: Candidate may be placed on call 3–5 times per month with approximately one weekend per month.
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab with 11 labs; unit handles 40–50 cases per day.
- Type of cases: EP, IR, and Cath Lab procedures.
- EMR: Epic.
- Orientation hours: 12 hours.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the health system.
