Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Silverdale, WA where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current Washington state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
- One year experience as an RRT. Candidates with CRT will be considered; either RRT or CRT acceptable.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
- Demonstrated ventilator management skills and experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow devices. Experience with PB 980, Philips V60, or Respironics Lumis is preferred.
- NICU and strong Level 2 nursery experience required. Must be competent with bubble CPAP care for infants ~32 weeks and up.
- Labor & Delivery experience required. Ability to assist with intubation procedures; independent intubation not required.
- Experience performing arterial blood gas draws, nebulizer treatments, ventilator setup, BiPAP setup, and supporting conscious sedation and cardioversion standby.
- Ability to work nights and meet weekend and one holiday staffing requirements.
- Department orientation required; completion of facility-specific orientation hours expected.
- Must meet any facility background and screening requirements for Washington state employment.
