Description
Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This position is for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC at a hospital.
Minimum Requirements:
- ARDMS-AB certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with high-acuity patient populations including pediatrics and adults.
- Experience using GE Logiq equipment preferred.
- Experience documenting in EPIC or comparable EMR preferred.
- Ability to perform inpatient, outpatient, ED, and pediatric exams; willingness to float between areas as needed.
- Strong communication and time-management skills required.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting required.
- Orientation requirements: completion of facility NEO and 2 days departmental orientation.
- Preferred: candidate acceptance as a first-time traveler is allowed.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift name: Nights.
- Shift schedule: Nights 10:00pm–7:00am, 9-hour shift, 36 hours per week, schedule cycles every 2 weeks.
- Patient types: Pediatric and adult, often high acuity.
- Weekend rotation: Depends on staffing needs.
- On call: No.
- Holiday expectations: No major holidays required.
- Scrub color: Black. Parking: Free.
