Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in MA required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume urgent care center or emergency room preferred. (Client prefers urgent care or ED experience.)
- Experience with radiology imaging workflow and integration with electronic medical records required. Prior EPIC experience preferred.
- Ability to perform front office registration tasks and basic clinical back-office duties including specimen collection (urine, finger stick) preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (ambulatory/urgent care setting in hospital system).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:30–21:00.
- Responsibilities include front desk registration, back-office clinical duties, and radiologic technologist functions for urgent care X-ray exams.
- Candidate may be required to travel to various urgent care locations within the system; reliable independent transportation required.
- Assignment length: 13 weeks.

GENERAL SUMMARY / OVERVIEW: The Radiologic Technologist provides expedited care by performing X-ray exams as ordered by urgent care providers and assists with front and back office clinical activities. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Prepare radiology suite and equipment, follow protocols for adult and pediatric patients, capture and document images in the EMR, clean and stage exam suites, monitor image receipt, restock supplies, assist with training, perform specimen collection for point-of-care tests, and assist with minor procedures under provider direction.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Work is performed in a fast-paced ambulatory clinic environment with frequent patient contact. Frequent walking, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and manual dexterity for computer use are required. Reliable independent transportation is required for travel to multiple urgent care locations within the system.
