• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification
• Valid Iowa Radiation Therapy state license or permit to practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist, preferably in an oncology or hospital setting
• Experience operating linear accelerators and treatment planning verification processes
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification required.
• Valid Iowa Permit to Practice or state license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist, with hands-on experience using linear accelerators and immobilization devices.
• Experience verifying treatment plans and coordinating with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists.
• Ability to document treatments accurately in electronic medical record systems.
• Preferred: Experience in a hospital-based radiation oncology department. Preferred: Familiarity with modern treatment planning and imaging verification workflows.

• Document treatments, machine parameters, and patient responses in the electronic record.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and safety checks.
