Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in Omaha, NE. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures and operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial data of the heart and vascular system.
What You'll Need:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required. RCIS certification from CCI is acceptable.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS (AHA) required.
- Minimum 3 years hospital-based Cardiac Cath/IR experience preferred; must have hospital cath lab experience. This client specifies more than 3 years as a must-have skill.
- Experience with EPIC charting required.
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred.
- Experience circulating intra-procedurally, medication administration, and sedation in cath/IR cases preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in interventional cases including cardiac inpatient add-ons and STEMI support preferred.
- Driver's license required at submittal. Candidate must reside within 50-mile radius rule; facility will use license to determine radius compliance.
- Must be able to float daily and for on-call coverage across multiple campuses as required.
- Artificial nails are prohibited for patient care. Noncompliance may affect contract status.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Cath Lab Interventional).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700–1700 (4x10 schedule noted; other notes reference 0700–1730 4 days/week).
- Orientation: 1 week unit-specific orientation plus on-call buddy call; 12 orientation hours noted.
- Call/On-call: Required. Call team covers three campuses. Expected 30-minute response time from primary campus; response time may be longer for other campuses.
- Floating: Required. Candidates must float to all three campuses; campuses are within about 6–15 miles of each other.
- Number of suites/labs: 3.
- Average cases per day: 4–5.
- EMR/Charting: EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting.
- Certifications required at start: RCIS, BLS, ACLS.
