Description
Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a multidisciplinary team. You will assist physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate advanced imaging equipment, and support patient care in an acute hospital setting.
What You'll Need:
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Minimum 3 years of hospital-based Cardiac Cath/Interventional Radiology experience required.
- Experience with Siemens imaging systems preferred.
- Experience charting in EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting required.
- Valid driver's license required at submittal. Candidates must meet a 50-mile radius rule and may not be employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with facilities associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity.
- Willingness to comply with facility fingernail policy (artificial nails prohibited) required.
- Ability to float daily and on-call to multiple campuses as needed.
- Hospital orientation requirements: one week of unit/department specific orientation including on-call buddy call. Orientation hours noted as 12.
- Minimum call and shift expectations: minimum 10 weeknight call shifts, minimum 2 weekends (one IR and one Cardiac). Call response expectation: 30 minutes from primary campus; variable to other campuses.
- Radiation badge will be provided by the client.

- Facility type: Hospital (Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology department).
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift schedule: Days 0700-1700 (4x10 schedule noted as 0700-1730 on some shift notes; include standard days shift 0700-1700).
- Number of suites/labs: 3.
- Typical case volume: 4–5 cases per day.
- Charting system: EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting.
- Orientation: 1 week unit-specific plus on-call buddy; 12 orientation hours indicated.
- Floating: Required to float to multiple campuses for daily coverage and on-call duties.
