Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join a hospital team in Omaha, NE as a Cath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role assisting physicians and cath lab personnel in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and provide procedural monitoring and documentation for adult inpatient and outpatient populations.
What You'll Need:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist via CCI) or ARRT registration required.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required, including left heart catheterizations, stent placement, and device procedures (ICD, pacemaker).
- Experience with Siemens cath systems, Sensis, Apollo, Phillips IVUS preferred.
- Experience using EPIC charting system preferred.
- Ability to scrub and assist physicians and perform monitoring and documentation during cases.
- Orientation: approximately 12 hours plus campus-specific orientation (1–3 days per campus).
- Driver's license required at submittal to verify radius rule eligibility.
- Must not be currently employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity as per radius rule within 50 miles.
Minimum Requirements / Client Specific Requirements:
- RCIS via CCI or ARRT registration required.
- BLS (AHA) required.
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required. Preferred: previous travel experience.
- Experience performing left heart caths, stent placement, ICD and pacemaker procedures required.
- Charting experience with EPIC preferred.
- Familiarity with Siemens cath and Sensis systems, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS preferred.
- Driver's license must be provided at submittal to confirm candidate is within 50-mile radius requirement.
- Adherence to facility fingernail policy: artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8 day schedule. Typical scheduled hours 07:30–16:00.
- Shift Notes: 8 hour days plus call responsibilities.
- Call Requirements: 1–2 weeknights per week, 1 weekend per month, rotating holidays. Call covers multiple campuses; response time 30 minutes.
- Floating: Yes. Candidate will float to other campus locations as needed within the system.
- Number of labs/suites: 1. Average cases per day: 1–3.
- Orientation: Traveler oriented to three campuses; each campus orientation 1–3 days.
