Description
Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required.
- State license to practice nuclear medicine in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience operating GE Discovery 630 Dual Head and GE PET 8 is preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred.
- At least 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
- Driver's license required at submittal to verify distance from facility for radius rule compliance.
- Candidates must not be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity (radius rule: 50 miles).
- Radiation badge will be provided by the client.
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; willingness to comply with fingernail policy is required.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700-1500 (standard shift details indicate 0700-1530 Monday–Friday; confirm at onboarding).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call.
- Orientation: 12 hours; unit-specific orientation typically 1–3 shifts.
- Charting system: EPIC.
- Department: Nuclear Medicine (NM) with PET; NM has 1 NM room and PET.
- Floating: XR/CT licensed techs may float; MRI and NM techs with additional licenses may float to other modalities. Only XR/CT licensed techs will float by default.
