We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board for Ohio.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• One year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting preferred. Client requires experience providing intensive respiratory care and operation of ventilatory equipment.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with arterial puncture, oximetry and capnography monitoring, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), and tracheostomy care.
• Experience with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation setup, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Ability to perform 12‑lead EKGs, basic arrhythmia recognition, pulmonary function studies (NIF, VC), and assist with bronchoscopy and chest tube procedures as needed.
• Competence in documentation of respiratory treatments, charges, and communication during shift handoffs.
• Must be able to transport patients within the facility and work with multidisciplinary teams.
