We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Austell, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science. Bachelor’s preferred.
• Current Georgia Respiratory Therapist license in good standing.
• NBRC-Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Certifications required upon hire: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (or NRP provisional within 180 days) as listed by employer.
• Clinical experience: 0–2 years overall, with a minimum of 6 months critical care experience required.
• Experience with ventilator management, weaning, waveform interpretation, airway management (intubation, extubation, tracheostomy care), arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Familiarity with administering aerosolized medications, bronchial hygiene, oxygen and medical gas therapy.
• Effective communication, critical thinking, teamwork with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and basic computer/database skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience in cardiac service procedures and pulmonary diagnostic testing.
