We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Charlotte, NC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current NC state license in good standing.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist required. Candidate may hold RRT or CRT; RRT preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including experience as part of a resource team or in acute care settings.
• Experience with IPPV and NIPPV ventilators; experience in ED, PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric PCU, or general medical floors preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP as a resource team requirement.
• Experience using EPIC or comparable EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to float to other facilities when required.

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Patient population: Neonate and pediatric primary, with adult patients when floated.
• Department orientation: 2-day departmental orientation plus NEO.
• Scrub color: Royal blue. Parking provided at no cost.
• Required departmental experience: 2 years as Respiratory Therapist on Resource Team.
