Description
We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Charlotte, NC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
- Current NC state license in good standing.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist required. Candidate may hold RRT or CRT; RRT preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience, including experience as part of a resource team or in acute care settings.
- Experience with IPPV and NIPPV ventilators; experience in ED, PICU, Pediatric CVICU, Pediatric PCU, or general medical floors preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP as a resource team requirement.
- Experience using EPIC or comparable EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to float to other facilities when required.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Patient population: Neonate and pediatric primary, with adult patients when floated.
- Department orientation: 2-day departmental orientation plus NEO.
- Scrub color: Royal blue. Parking provided at no cost.
- Required departmental experience: 2 years as Respiratory Therapist on Resource Team.
